SONY: Michel Ancel announces Wild

Famed developer Michel Ancel has announced a brand new PlayStation title called Wild.

Speaking at Gamescom, Ancel said the title would have an open world potentially as big as Europe” in which players are free to play both as humans and as any living creature.

The video shown saw humans, birds, wolves and other creatures roaming a vast natural landscape that looks to offer a wide range of gameplay opportunities. There’s also a detailed and dynamic weather system.

Wild is being developed by Wild Sheep Studio.

Ancel’s previous titles include Rayman and Beyond Good & Evil.
