Develop Awards 2014: Unity wins Engine prize

Unity has won the Engine prize at the Develop Awards 2014.

The company, know for its mantra to democratise game development, has been hard at work on Unity 4 and subsequent iterations over the last year.

The firm is currently gearing up for the release of Unity 5, which will include a number of significant enhancements and additions.

Other Engine finalists included the Crytek’s CryEngine, YoYo Games’ GameMaker, Havok’s Project Anarchy and Epic’s Unreal Engine.
