VIDEO: First-look at FIFA 15, release date revealed

EA wants users to ‘feel the game’ in FIFA 15. But in a different way to FIFA 14.

FIFA 15 launches on PS4, Xbox One and PC on September 25th throughout Europe and will offer the same features across all three versions using the new Ignite Engine.

The focus of this year’s entry is ‘emotion and intensity’ which EA says is delivered through the new Emotional Intelligence system.

All 22 players on the field will have an individual emotional state for the first time ever. As a result, players will range from calm to aggressive as a result of the match at hand. Cup fixtures will have players on edge whilst harsh tackles and poor decisions by the ref will have them visibly frustrated.

Hundreds of new animations have been built into FIFA 15 to accommodate this, whilst goalscorers will have over ten new celebrations to choose from.

Visuals have also received a step-up in FIFA 15 with the processing power of the new consoles. Player models have been completely reworked to better reflect their real-life counterparts.

Elsewhere, the Living Pitch feature has the turf actively react to each game. Slide tackles will result in skid marks whilst the weather conditions such as rain will deteriorate the playing surface.

Even crowds have received a massive overhaul as each stadium will house personalised fans. Games played at Anfield will echo with the sound of Never Walk Alone and region-specific chants.
