PES Manager out now on iOS and Android

Konami has released a PES-branded badge collecting football title on smartphones.

It’s called PES Manager, although it’s actually a version of existing Japanese title World Soccer Collection S. It features over 1,500 licensed player badges and a 3D match engine.

It’s all along the same lines as FIFA’s Ultimate Team, minus the actual match gameplay. Instead it sees players building a squad by amassing collectible cards – these are won via the ‘Normal Prize Draw’ by winning matches or by purchasing Energy Balls with real cash for access to the ‘Premium Prize Draw’.

Cards can also be combined with certain buffs and specced up throughout the season.

Konami also promises campaigns and events for the title going forwards.
