CD Projekt Red mobile title planned for this year – report

The Witcher developer CD Projekt Red is working on a multiplatform mobile title to launch later this year, according to a new report.

Eurogamer points to an internal report by the Polish studio, which reveals it is working with an external partner” on the unannouned game.

"It’s a multiplatform mobile game, made with advanced technological capabilities of tablets and smartphones in mind," a translation of the report reads.

"Thus, we are entering a completely new territory in terms of gameplay and business model, realizing our strategic plans to enter the mobile gaming market."

CD Projekt Red has yet to comment on the report. The studio recently delayed The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt to February 2015.
