Boom Beach is Supercell’s third game

Clash of Clans publisher Supercell has lifted the lid on its third title – Boom Beach.

The game, which is currently in beta in Canada and Australia, will be released on iOS in March and on Android some time after that.

"We’ve made some risky choices,” Supercell CEO Ilkka Paananen said, as reported by PocketGamer.biz. There aren’t any clans in the game and the combat mechanic is different to Clash of Clans. We like to take risks. This is important to us."

Supercell yesterday reported 2013 revenues of $892m – up from $101m in 2012 – with earnings of $464m.
