Diablo III sells 15m units across all platforms

Diablo III has sold a lifetime total of 15m units, Activision Blizzard has revealed.

The announcement came during the publisher’s annual earnings call this week. The game had moved 14m as of November—meaning it’s racked up another million copies sold between then and now.

The steady numbers this far out from original PC launch are likely being provided by the PS3 and Xbox 360 editions that launched last September. While sales for the title have been excellent to this point, the release has been anything but a smooth ride.

Diablo III’s upcoming Reaper of Soulsexpansionis due out on March 25th for PC and Mac OS X.
