Report: Composer claims Far Cry 4 is in development

Far Cry 4 is already in development, at least according to the game’s supposed composer.

VG247 reports on a since-edited Lost in the Multiplex interview, in which television and film composer Cliff Martinez states he is working on a video game called Far Cry 4.”

Martinez’s video game track record includes creating tracks for EA’s Spore, and he’s also composed scores for films such as Traffic, Contagion, Solaris and Drive.

Ubisoft hasn’t spoken an official word on the unannounced sequel as of yet, and it seems likely the firm was behind the swift pulling of the game’s mention in the piece.

The publisher announced in May that Far Cry 3 had sold over 6m copies across digital and retail platforms.
