Patch problems preventing some from taking PES 2014 online

A technical problem is preventing many owners of PES 2014 from being able to play the online multiplayer.

As reported yesterday, users are required to download a patch for the game before its multiplayer component is accessible. However, many are reporting not only prolonged download times for the datapack but also a subsequent inability to install it.

PES community man Adam Bhatti has said that Konami is working on the issue, but despite acknowledging the problems on Friday it appears that it is yet to be resolved.

In the meantime, Bhatti is recommending the use of a community-provided workaround that requires the use of a PC, USB stick and third party download.

Konami will be keen to get things working as soon as possible ahead of the release of FIFA 2014 this Friday (September 27th).
