Nintendo reveals paid DLC for 3DS’ Street Pass

Paid DLC in a game integrated into Nintendo hardware? Wow, this really must be the future.

Nintendo has announced that it is to release four premium upgrades to the popular Street Pass application that comes pre-installed on every 3DS.

They are StreetPass Squad (shooter), StreetPass Mansion (puzzle) StreetPass Garden (sim) and StreetPass Battle (strategy).

Each download will cost 4.49. Alternatively players can buy all four for 13.49. Players wanting to get involved will need to download the latest 3DS firmware.

Doing so will also open up the ability for Miis to win a selection of 99 new outfits.
