SONY: Watch the E3 crowd go wild as Sony confirms PS4 pre-owned and online plans

This is sure to go down as a notable moment in E3 history.

In a year when many questioned the ongoing value of the LA showcase, Sony took to the stage to prove that E3 remains the single best platform to appeal to the buying public.

The clip below, as compiled by CVG, shows the really quite incredible audience reaction to the confirmation that PS4 will NOT block pre-owned games and will NOT require period online authentication.

Also note the reaction from Sony president and CEO Jack Tretton, who seems almost overwhelmed by the outpouring of goodwill being heaped upon him by the thousands of attendees.
