EA: Star Wars: Battlefront resurrected

EA has announced its first Star Wars project – and it’s a Battlefront sequel.

It is due for PS4 and Xbox One.

Battlefront is a huge fan favourite amongst Star Wars enthusiasts, but the anticipated third game in the series hit development issues and was never released. It was previously in development at Free Radical Design in the UK.

EA revealed that Battlefront is returning and will be handled by Battlefield developers DICE at its E3 conference. However, it is still very early days in the game’s development and only a teaser video was shown.
