EA's E3 press conference goes full throttle with new entry in racing franchise

E3 2013: Need for Speed Rivals in progress at Ghost Games

EA’s press conference at E3 2013 has brought news of the next entry in the Need for Speed franchise.

Need for Speed Rivals is from EA’s new studio, Ghost Games and Criterion Games, and seeks to blur the line between sigleplayer and multiplayer with a new game mode.

The game is set to arrive on PS4, Xbox One, PC and current generation consoles "later this year", and is powered by the Frostbite 3 engine.
