Jordan Amaro leaves Nottingham office to work on Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

Crytek UK designer heads to Kojima Japan

Former Crytek and 2K Czech designer Jordan Amaro has joined Kojima Productions in Japan.

Amaro, who has previously worked on Homefront 2 at Crytek’s Nottingham office and as level mission designer at 2K Czech on an “unannounced” project, has taken up the role of game designer at Kojima.

According to the developer’s LinkedIn page, he will be working on Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.

Before working at Crytek and 2K Czech, Amaro previously went to the Ubisoft Campus as a level design student, and is also Level Design Special Interest Group Coordinator for the IGDA.
