Planetside 2 Mobile Uplink app released

Sony Online Entertainment has released the Planetside 2 Mobile Uplink app for iOS and Android devices.

Carrying the usual companion app standards, such as info on various statistics and server updates, the mobile program has the added ability to voice chat with friends currently playing – essentially letting you prepare with your outfit outside of the game.

It’s also connected to several social media and community landings, and offers leaderboards, a news ticker, and storage of character stats as well.

The portable assistant to SOE’s free-to-play MMO shooter is out now as a free download on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
