Explosive Alan launches new games show Thank You For Playing

The team behind the ill-fated Inside Xbox has launched the pilot episode of its new video games show, Thank You For Playing.

The idea has been part financed by a successful crowd funding appeal on Indiegogo, where it was pitched as the kind of mature, high-quality gaming show that TV has lacked for years, but rapidly evolved into something a traditional format wouldn’t allow for”.

The result is an interesting blend of game and TV show that’s navigated like Super Mario World, with additional content offered to those who delve deep enough into its innards. Registered users are able to save their progress.

It’s all powered by a proprietary engine called Arbiter and promises a rich mix of media including live-action, animation and machinima.
