Kinect pioneer becomes creative director of SCEE

Rare veteran George Andreas joins Sony

Sony has found a new creative director for its European division in George Andreas.

As reported by Eurogamer, Andreas will join Sony Computer Entertainment Europe at its London office.

Andreas is a 16-year veteran of Rare who worked on classics like Donkey Kong 64, GoldenEye, and numerous Banjo-Kazooie titles.

He also played a key role in the development of the Kinect hardware, as well as Kinect Sports 1 and Kinect Sports: Season 2.
