Atari board members under threat

Following last week’s announcement that Atari-owning Infogrames is working on a plan to restore profitability to the publisher,

reports that a number of board members may be facing the sack.

A report from Thompson Financial claims that the five Atari directors will face the chop, with only three staying on and a number of new board members joining.

The chairman and CEO of Infogrames says the new board ‘will allow the group to get closer to achieving the key objectives of its previously announced recovery plan’.
