Moshi Monsters brand to rock fast food chain this holiday

Mind Candy inks toy deal with McDonald’s

UK developer Mind Candy has inked a deal which will see Moshi Monsters toys placed in Happy Meals in McDonald’s North American restaurants over Christmas.

Lasting for four weeks, from December 14th to January 10th, the promotion will offer children one of eight Moshi characters, including a new special mystery Moshling. Favourites such as Katsuma, Poppet and Iggy will be included.

McDonald’s plans to support the Moshi partnership with “an unparalleled number of impressions” through a marketing campaign that includes: TV advertising, in-restaurant merchandising at over 14,000 restaurants, custom packaging and branding on happymeal.com.

This deal represents another first for the UK developer’s all-conquering children’s brand, which has 65 million users and been converted into magazines, clothing and music soundtracks.
