EA wins LGBT equality award

The Human Rights Campaign has awarded publisher EA a 100 per cent rating in its LGBT workplace equality report.

To receive the award businesses must demonstrate policies, benefits and practices that are best-in-class demonstrations of corporate commitments to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender employees”.

Only companies that score 100 per cent are awarded.

I am very pleased that EA has scored a 100 per cent rating and been recognised by the Human Rights Campaign in a year where the company has taken significant steps to remain inclusive,” EA’s chief talent officer Gabrielle Toledano stated.

EA has made changes to our medical benefits, been involved in LGBT events in our community and taken a public stance against the Defence of Marriage Act. EA champions diversity with a work environment where everyone feels welcome and can be themselves.”
