CCP veteran Nathan Richardsson joins Trion Worlds

Nathan Richardsson, formerly of CCP, will head development of Trion World’s new MMO shooter Defiance.

Richardsson brings his experience working on EVE, World of Darkness, and Dust 514 to the online gaming company where he will serve as Vice President of Development and Executive Producer.

“Nathan comes to us with an established legacy of success in the online gaming space,” said Nick Beliaeff, Trion’s SVP of Development.

Defiance is an ambitious multiplatform MMO that seeks to create an action-packed third person shooter experience that feeds into a TV counterpart to air on the SyFy network.

"Nathan’s excellent experience and dedication to launching, maintaining and growing innovative online games makes him the perfect person to helm this unprecedented project," said Beliaeff.

Richardsson will lead collaboration between Trion and SyFy, and oversee the game’s direction through launch.
