The Game Developers Conference Online is to be replaced by a re-imagined event named GDC Next from 2013.
The conference has been moved to the Los Angeles Convention centre and will take place between November 5th and 7th.
GDC Next will take place alongside the new App Developers Conference that covers technology, business, and creation outside of gaming.
It will focus on what’s next in smartphone and tablets as well as social, persistent and independent forms of gaming.
The show is designed to attract, designers, programmers, producers, artists and marketers.
The last GDC Online will take place between October 9th and 11th in Austin, Texas.
