Microsoft introduces limited Xbox 360 game bundles

Microsoft increased the prices of all Xbox 360 SKUs in India a couple of days ago, and in an attempt to soften the blow, the company today announced that each SKU would be bundled with one or more games.

Four SKUs of the Xbox 360 are available in India, and here’s what you’ll get for free when you purchase them:

• Xbox 360 4 GB – Halo 3
• Xbox 360 250 GB – Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, Street Fighter IV
• Xbox 360 4 GB Kinect bundle – Kinect Sports, Forza 4, 3-month Xbox Live Gold
• Xbox 360 250 GB Kinect Bundle – Kinect Sports, Halo 3, Gunstringer

The console effectively costs less than it did before the price hike if you take the prices of the games into account. Then again, that purely depends on how interested a customer is in those games, especially since most of them are quite old.

These bundles will be available in stores all through August and September.
