Girlfriend Mode ignites on Twitter

TRENDING NOW: That’s the thing with modern media – the time lapse between ‘making a silly comment’ and ‘paying the price for a silly comment’ is so very, very small.

And so it is that Gearbox’s use of the term ‘Girlfriend Mode’ to describe an upcoming new feature that dramatically lessens Borderlands 2’s challenge has already sent the internet into a rage.
