Leaders from Twitter, Big Pixel Studios, Game Advisor, Loveshark and Doppio join the Future Games Summit’s 2019 programme

In just six weeks MCV is bringing back the Future Games Summit for 2019. The event for leaders in the games industry, and beyond, to share knowledge and network.

And today we’re excited to announce our second set of speakers, who will be sharing their vision for the future of the games industry at the event on the 25th and 26th of November, and joining speakers from the BBC, Fourth Floor Creative, Google and Team17, which we announced last week.

Reece Brown, entertainment partnerships manager at Twitter. Brown currently leads Twitter’s video game partnerships in the UK, fostering relationships across editorial platforms, esports leagues and game publishers. Throughout his career he’s worked for some of the biggest names in the media industry including Channel 4, and Verizon Media.

Georgina Felce, studio operations manager for Big Pixel Studios. Felce responsible the day to day operational running of the studio, heading up recruitment and championing the studios core values and culture. She passionately works to promote diversity and inclusion through thoughtful hiring and the planning of events hosted throughout the year.

Stefan Lampinen, managing director of Game Advisor. As the founder of Game Advisor, a leading Advisory and Business Intelligence firm in the games/esports/board games market, Stefan has been creating and executing worldwide strategies for major corporations at EA, Microsoft and Warner Bros, and has C-level relationships in the Games Industry. Stefan is engaged worldwide by small and large companies for his ability to generate ideas, connections and strategies that deliver extraordinary value. Stefan is the co-founder of the Swedish Games Industry Association, and received the Lifetime Achievement Awards from the Nordic Games Industry in 2008.

Tara Reddy, CEO of Loveshark. UKIE Future Leader award winner Tara Reddy is the CEO and co-founder of Loveshark: a London based startup that create camera games for female Gen Z players. Tara perfected the art of career-vaulting as she transitioned from the veterinary world to augmented reality and games.

Jeferson Valadares, CEO and Co-founder of Doppio Games. Doppio Games is a voice-first game studio based in Portugal. Valaderes is also a member of the board of directors at Rovio. In past lives he was VP/GM of Mobile at Bandai Namco and Studio GM at Electronic Arts.

A big thanks to all five for joining our line-up at the event. They join our first four speakers announced last week and we’ll be announcing more speakers every week from now on. To hear these and many, many more across two tracks, head to FGS19 to secure your ticket.

FGS19 is a two-day conference being held on November 25th and 26th. We’ve booked the stunning Altitude 360 (now known as Atmosphere) venue by the river with panoramic views of London, so the vision of our speakers won’t be the only thing to marvel at.

The event is for C-level, decision makers and leaders in the games industry. There will be no press and no reporting from the event. It’s an opportunity for the top-level of the industry, and those working in connected sectors, to get together and talk about the future of games as a business – whether that be platforms, marketing, publishing, development, online retail and much more.

Please get in contact with our programme director Tracey McGarrigan if you wish to secure a speaking slot at the event. However, please note that we are only accepting new talks, from senior executives, that provide valuable business insight for other industry leaders.

In addition, we’re looking for speakers who are also keen to attend the event as a whole, as there’s a big crossover between the kind of speaker we’re targeting and the audience we’ll draw. Both days will be relatively lightly scheduled, providing plenty of time and space for networking, which will form a big part of the event. If you want to reach this select audience then please contact Alex Boucher about sponsorship opportunities, or to make the most of the event we’re also offering private meeting areas.

For more details on the event head to www.futuregamessummit.com.
