Mortal Kombat dev reveals superhero brawler Injustice: Gods Among Us

NetherRealm Studios, creator of Mortal Kombat, has announced Injustice: Gods Among Us, a new fighting game in collaboration with DC Comics.

The game’s roster will include popular characters from the DC universe, including Batman, Harley Quinn, Solomon Grundy, Superman, The Flash and Wonder Woman.

Billed by Warner Bros as a new fighting franchise, Injustice will feature a deep, original story” that is set in a world where the lines between good and evil are blurred”. The game also promises epic battles on a massive scale”.

Injustice: Gods Among Us is slated for release in 2013 on PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii U. Gamespot has the official announcement trailer.
