Edinburgh Interactive takes on Dragons’ Den

Edinburgh Interactive will be bringing an event based on the popular BBC 2 show Dragons’ Den to the Edinburgh Interactive Festival on the 9th August.

The event, titled ‘Thare Be Dragons’, will take place at The Radisson Blu Hotel on the Royal Mile and see budding games entrepreneurs present their ideas in front of a panel of four experienced dragons from the interactive and media industries.

As well as evaluating the proposals, each dragon will have 100,000 (fake) to part with during the session to any ideas that particularly impress.

Stepping into the role of the tough talking fire-breathers are the Life President of Square Enix and Eidos Europe Ian Livingstone, CEO of Soccer Matrix Kelly Sumner, CEO of Scottish TV Rob Woodward and Australian social network pioneer and co-founder of coderdojo.com Bill Laio.

Those interested in pitching to the dragons must download an entry form and submit their proposals to alexa@edinburghinteractive.co.uk by June 30th.
