Second fund offered by company in a year available for iOS and Android

Tapjoy $5m fund for Asian mobile investment

Tapjoy has announced a five million dollar fund to support development for iOS and Android in Asia.

The San Francisco mobile publishing and advertising firm launched a similar initiative in June of last year encouraging developers to port their iOS titles to Android.

This coincided with a change in Apple’s advertising policy which prevents "pay-per-install" ads- a staple of Tapjoy’s business model.

But this latest initiative is open to both iOS and Android developers of freemium mobile games, and offers financing, support, marketing, advertising, and consultation to successful applicants.

Eligeable and interested developers can apply at the Tapjoy fund’s webpage.
