US/Europe release targets revealed for MGS HD Vita Collection

Vita owners in US and Europe will get a crack at Konami’s Metal Gear Solid HD Collection next month, according to retailer listings and the company itself.

Eurogamer reports (via Joystiq) that the publisher has announced a launch window of ‘late June’ for European markets.

A US release date of June 12th has been listed for the title on Amazon and Gamestop.

The portable version of February’s PS3/Xbox 360 release brings a rebalanced user interface and Kojima Productions’ Transfarring system that allows players to share data between the Vita and PS3.

Vita’s version features Metal Gear 1, Metal Gear 2, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. Unlike the console versions though, the Vita collection does not include PSP’s Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker.
