Rockstar CV points to GTA V release this October

The CV of a character animator at Rockstar North has apparently suggested that Grand Theft Auto V will be released in October 2012.

Joystiq reports that the CV of Alex O-Dwyer has since been removed – as has the reference to the date on his LinkedIn profile.

Other than GTA IV, the series has traditionally arrived in that release window, though Take-Two may be less than happy about the though of GTA V releasing so close to BioShock Infinite.

MCV’s advice on this one? Treat with heavy scepticism. The format of the date and how it is presented on the CV seems conspicuous to say the least.

However, it should be said that in conversations with MCV more than one publisher and retail boss has alluded to a late 2012 release for GTA V.
