Three Nippon Ichi PS3 RPGs headed West

Cult RPG developer Nippon Ichi has announced plans to bring three Japanese RPGs to the Western PS3 market.

The first, called The Witch and the Hundred Kings, is internally developed and will receive a full-blooded retail release. This will be joined by the Compile Heart developed MugenSouls.

Also on the way is digital-only release Legasista, which will hit PSN in the August.

Nippon Ichi is best known for series such as Disgaea, Phantom Brave, La Pucelle: Tactics, Atelier Iris and cult PS2 oddity GrimGrimoire.

The studio was founded in the early 1990s.
