EverQuest Online Adventures, Cosmic Rift, Infantry and Star Chamber: The Harbinger Sage to end by June

SOE closes four online games

Sony Online Entertainment is to cease four of its onlne titles at the end of the month, it has been revealed.

As reported by VG47, the company is set to close EverQuest Online Adventures, Cosmic Rift, Infantry and Star Chamber: The Harbinger Saga.

The titles are due to cease to exist online as of March 29th.

SOE said it will give currently players of EverQuest Online Adventures three months of Gold Membership for EverQuest and its sequel, which will be available to access from March 16th.

“It is with a heavy heart that we announce today the imminent sunsetting of four of our long-standing game services,” read a statement.

“Each of these games shares a special place in both ours and our players’ hearts. This is not an easy decision, but there comes a time when it’s best for our developers to move on to the next adventure, and that day has come.”
