Battlefield 4 mentioned in Medal of Honor listing

It appears that Battlefield 4, and not Bad Company 3, will be the next entry in DICE’s series.

Digital Spy reports that an Origin listing for upcoming EA title Medal of Honor: Warfighter stated that customers who pre-ordered the game would get access to the Battlefield 4 beta.

The statement has since been removed.

It had been presumed that EA would alternate between the main Battlefield games and the Bad Company spin-off series in the much the same way as Activision has an annual switch between Modern Warfare and Black Ops.

However, with last year’s Battlefield 3 breaking EA records and selling upwards of 10m units, it’s perhaps no surprise that EA would instead choose to focus on the core Battlefield brand.
