10m daily downloads for App Store

Apple has announced that its App Store has now passed the seven billion downloads milestone, up from 6.5 billion at the start of September.

That means the store is currently doing 10 million downloads every day – more than Android Market, BlackBerry App World and Android Market combined.

(There’s some debate over which of these stores include updates in their totals and which don’t, it should be noted).
