$15,000 cosplay competition to take place at The International 6

The International 6 will feature a $15,000 cosplay competition, giving the best Dota 2 cosplayers in the world a chance to show off on the biggest stage of the year.

For the first time ever the best cosplayers will take to the main stage at The International to battle it out for the lion’s share of the significant prize pool. Contestants will be invited to a pre judging phase, to determine the best of what will presumably be a massive group, on August 10th. The fifteen finalists will then be invited to the main event on August 11th to compete on stage, where a winner will be chosen.

Each of the fifteen finalists will receive $500, with third place taking an extra $1,500, second taking an extra $2,500 and the overall winner getting an extra $3,500.

If taking to the stage isn’t your thing, but you still want to dress up as a Dota hero at TI then you are in luck. Everyone that shows up to the main event in cosplay will get a Dota 2 cosplay pin, which is only available at The International 6.
