£39.99 RRP for PS Vita games?

Retailer ShopTo has become the first outlet to offer an RRP for PlayStation Vita software, pegging the price at 39.99.

In total the site names 20 games for launch – which, incidentally, it dates as November 4th.

Games listed include WipEout 2048, Super Stardust Delta, Resistance, Monster Hunter Portable, Killzone, Modnation Racers, BioShock and LittleBigPlanet.

By comparison, software for Nintendo’s 3DS typically retails for between 34.99 and 39.99 at full price.

When asked by MCV, Sony stated that it has "not made any announcements about software pricing, so that’s just speculation".
