505 Games appoints Neil Ralley as president

Publisher 505 Games has announed former general manager of 2K Games InternationalNeil Ralley as its new president. Ralley, who previously worked at 2K for 11 years and oversaw the international rollouts of BioShock, Borderlands, Mafia, Civilization, XCOM, NBA 2K and WWE 2K, will now use his expertise to take 505 to new heights.

505 Games are at a very exciting stage in their development as a global publisher," Ralley commented. "The team have come a long way in their 11 year history and I know that they are poised for even greater things. I am extremely excited to join the team to continue to build on the foundations they have laid and help take them to the next level.”

505 Games recently acquired the publishing rights for Remedy Entertainment’s new title, after securing a 20-year rights deal worth€7.75m (6.56m). The title doesn’t yet have a name – going only by the codename Project 7 – but will release on PS4, Xbox One and PC when it eventually arrives.

It is a sign of how far 505 Games has come that we are now in a position to partner with such a talented development studio as Remedy Entertainment,” CEO of 505 owner Digital Bros Raffaele Galante said.

Our mutual life-stages, ambitions and business objectives are actually very well-aligned and we are excited to enter into what feels like a very natural partnership. The agreement fits perfectly with our strategy of continuous improvement of the quality and the potential returns of our portfolio.”
