Amazon Germany predicts 399.99 Wii U price, December release

Following Amazon.co.uk’s stab at predicting the RRP and release date of Wii U last week, the retailer’s German arm has this morning made its own prediction.

A new listing on Amazon.de reckons the machine will have an RRP of €399.99. That translates directly to 322 and would, most likely, point to a UK price of around 299.99.

The site also predicts a surprising release date – December 21st. That would give Nintendo a very narrow release window in which to try and grab as much of the Christmas market as possible.

Bear in mind, though, that Amazon’s equally hard to swallow July 14th launch date was soon removed and explained away as an error”.
