Amazon Instant Video lands on Xbox 360

Amazon has released its Instant Video application onto the Xbox 360, with the app available now for Xbox Live Gold subscribers.

Instant Video lets Amazon customers to watch any purchased or rented content thorough the console, as well as offering the Prime Instant Video library for paying Amazon Prime subscribers.

The app totes Kinect integration (both gesture and voice), and includes ‘Whispersync’ which allows customers to keep track of where a video has been paused across multiple devices.

Amazon Instant Video is available on PS3 as well, having arrived last month for Sony’s console.
