Amazon’s Fire TV arrives in UK

Amazon has released its Fire TV microconsole in the UK.

The set-top box costs 79, though the game controller must be purchased separately for 34.99.

Games available for the Fire TV include Minecraft, Asphalt 8, The Walking Dead and Amazon Game Studios-developed shooter Sev Zero. Various apps including Netflix, Prime Instant Video, YouTube and BBC iPlayer are also available.
