Angry Birds costumes go on sale

Fans of Angry Birds can now embarrass themselves with a new range of themed Halloween outfits and headpieces.

Costume Discounters is stocking 14 different bird and pig costumes from Rovio’s 350m-selling mobile game franchise, as reported by MacTrast. The costumes are available in both adult and child sizes, with RRPs ranging from $39.99 to $59.99.

These join a fast-growing range of official Angry Birds merchandise including plush toys, T-shirts and phone cases which hit stores earlier in the year.

The news comes after Rovio announced that 1m Angry Birds plush toys and 1m branded T-shirts are sold every single month.

An Angry Birds console game and cartoon are also in the works.
