Apple launches showcase page to highlight App Store indie titles

The Apple App Store now offers an ‘Indie Game Showcase’ page, highlighting noteworthy iOS titles developed by indie studios.

Shacknews points to the new App Store landing, which currently features Device 6 – along with developer Simogo’s other titles, such as Beat Sneak Bandit, and a few of the dev’s personal favorites as well.

Apple states the showcase aims to celebrate a popular game and its creative team, highlighting the developer’s titles along with their favorite games from other studios.”

The company did not mention any schedule for the showcase, though the feature appears to be a week-long promotion.
