Asda game promotes World Cup deals

Asda has hired promotional game development specialist Matmi to create Make a Save; a title conceived to advertise the supermarket chain’s World Cup offers.

Released today, the penalty shootout themed browser game is linked through to Asda’s ongoing online Love The Game campaign, which is also running in-store.

We wanted the game to be fun and interactive, and show that every single save we make is given back to our customers by lowering the prices of products they put in their basket each and every week," said Trevor Field, head of marketing for digital and financial services at Asda.
