Ashes Cricket 2013 gets 22nd November release date on Steam

Out of nowhere, Ashes Cricket 2013 has popped up on Steam with a 22ndNovember release date. That’s just two days away.

The game is available for $20.99 (approx Rs 1,300), but that’s after a 30% preorder discount. Buy it after release and the price goes up to $30 (approx Rs 1,900). This preorder price is lower than the game’s estimated retail price of Rs 1,499.

Ashes Cricket 2013 was initially scheduled for a June release, but was delayed by 505 Games and developer Trickstar Games, who said the the game was simplynot good enough”.

The new release date coincides with the return leg of the Ashes series between Australia and England, which gets underway Down Under this week.

We’ve reached out to 505 Games and distributor Milestone Interactive to get more details on the game’s retail release for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.

Here are the minimum system requirements for Ashes Cricket 2013 on PC:

• Processor: Intel i3 or AMD A6 or above processor
• Memory: 2 GB RAM
• Graphics: Nvidia GeForce 400 or ATI Radeon 6000 series, 512MB, Shader model 3.0+ graphics card
• DirectX: Version 9.0c
• Hard drive: 15 GB available space
• Sound card: DirectX version 9.0c-compatible sound card
