Assassin’s Creed and Rayman star in new iOS and Android titles

Ubisoft has announced two new smartphone games based on a pair of its biggest IPs – Assassin’s Creed and Rayman.

Assassin’s Creed: Pirates is focused on naval combat, thematically tying in with the upcoming Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, although it is very much separate to that game’s previously announced companion app.

It features 20 square km of explorable oceans with players being able to upgrade their ships, hunt for treasure and the like.

Rayman Fiesta Run, meanwhile, hopes to continue the success of the fantastic Rayman Jungle Run. It’s once again built on the UbiArt Framework engine so should look fantastic.

Both games are due out later this year, and both have trailers below:
