Assassin’s Creed IV PC arriving late to the launch party

Ubisoft has revealed that the PC version of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag will arrive a few weeks” after the game’s launch on consoles.

GameSpot reports on a video interview where Ubisoft game director Ashraf Ismail confirms that PC gamers will have to wait a bit deeper into the holiday season than PS3, Wii U and Xbox 360 owners.

The staggered launch carries on the franchise’s trend of tardy releases for the platform.

We’re working hard on the PC version. It’s one of the main platforms we work on in the office,” Ismail said.

For our PC fans, don’t worry. The game on PC looks phenomenal.”

Assassin’s Creed IV will hit by early November on current generation consoles and will also be a launch title for PS4 and Xbox One.
