Assassin’s Creed mobile game to be Gree-exclusive

Ubisoft and Gree have announced an agreement to bring a new Assassin’s Creed mobile game onto the new Gree social games platform.

The title is being developed for both iOS and Android devices, but will be offeredexclusively through Gree’s upcoming "borderless"platform—set to arrive in Q2 of this year. The game itself is slated for December, and will be available in English and Japanese at launch.

In related newsthe company is also teaming up with Gameloft to bring the new social game Gang Domination, which will be available on various smartphone devices in June.

Gree has been aggressively expanding in several ways sincepurchasing OpenFeintlast year, stocking thousands of gaming applications through deals such as the aforementioned.At current the company claims its network reaches over 190 million players worldwide, with plans to balloon numbers further with the launch of their new platform later this year.
