Assassin’s Creed Unity delayed

Ubisoft has pushed back the release of Assassin’s Creed Unity by a few weeks.

The game was originally due October 28th, but will now hit European shelves (including the UK) on November 13th. It’ a slight delay, no doubt to ensure the game gets those last few bugs out of its system. The US release date is November 11th.

It’s a busy week for Ubisoft. The Crew arrives on November 11th while the other Assassin’s Creed, Rogue, also arrives November 13th.

It has had no impact on Ubisoft’s financial expectations.

"As we got close to the finish, we realised we were near the target but still needed a bit more time to hone some of the details to make sure Assassin’s Creed Unity is exceptional,” said Ubisoft’s senior producer Vincent Pontbriand.

We sincerely appreciate players’ commitment to the game and their patience. It’s just a couple more weeks. And it’s going to be worth it.”
