Babel launches recruitment drive

MCV sister site Develop reports that localisation and testing company Babel Media continues to grow at an impressive rate, with it currently looking to recruit 150 staff across its Brighton and Montreal offices.

The Montreal facility wants to add 100 new functionality testers to work in Babel’s test labs, while the Brighton office is recruiting native European language speakers for its localisation department.

The company says its expansion is a response to the development industry’s increasing use of outsourcing, as well as demands for concurrent releases for next- and current-gen titles.

Babel MD Algy Williams said: ”We’re working on some of the world’s biggest games right now, and we’re expanding like crazy.”
