Together with EA and Paramount TV, we’ll develop the Battlefield TV series with the same commitment to robust storytelling that has made the game such a runaway success fornearly fifteen years.”

Battlefield is not the first game property to make the leap to television, as a Mirror’s Edge TV series has been announced by Endemol earlier this year. Meanwhile, Activision revealed that aSkylanders TV show is on its way to Netflix this autumn, amongst others.

This Battlefield TV series is announced ahead of the release of Battlefield 1 in October. The game’s trailer was the most ‘liked’ ever when it launched on YouTube.
